Ways to do it
What you need
- A RecLink account
- Your preferred park, date and times (including setup and cleanup time)
- A payment method
Steps online (phone, tablet or computer)
- Look at the picnic shelter list to choose a park and check its hourly fee.
- Sign in to RecLink and request the shelter for your date and times.
- Wait for staff approval.
- After approval, pay to confirm your reservation.
Good to know
- Cost: Hourly fees vary by shelter, with a 2-hour minimum. Non-residents pay 25% more on the hourly rate. Going past your reserved time costs twice the hourly rate.
- RecLink doesn’t take reservations fewer than 14 days ahead.
- Other rental fees can include a $15 application fee (indoor spaces, amphitheaters, fields), a $100 or $250 administrative deposit, and a $100 alcohol permit. Non-residents pay 25% more on most rentals (50% at a few historic sites).
- The time you request must include setup and breakdown.
- Check the City’s refund policy before you book.
