Request a fire safety program, station tour or fire truck visit
Provided by: Raleigh Fire Department (City of Raleigh)
Raleigh Fire offers safety programs (including Steps for Safety for seniors), station tours, fire truck displays, and appearances at community events inside the City.
Ways to do it
Steps online (phone, tablet or computer)
- Open the fire education request page and choose the request form.
- Pick the program type (for a station tour, choose the station) and a date at least 14 days away.
- Submit. A request doesn’t confirm availability; the Fire Department will follow up.
Good to know
- Who can use it: Events must be within the City of Raleigh. A 14-day notice is required.
- Programs include fire station tours, fire truck displays, school programs, NFPA Steps for Safety (for seniors), workplace safety, evacuation and fire extinguisher training.
- A presentation does not include a fire truck unless that’s specifically requested.
- Smoke alarm installations use a separate form; see the smoke alarm entry.
